NPTC Update
Noroton Presbyterian Therapy Center
Since opening in October 2024, the Noroton Presbyterian Therapy Center has served 49 individual clients and provided more than 400 therapy sessions. The center supported both full-fee and subsidized clients, ensuring access to care through the generosity of a donor and Deacon fund donations.
While this work has had a meaningful impact, the hope was that the center would meet a great number of clients and become financially sustainable. That has not been the case. The original intent of the gift was to provide seed funding, allowing the center time to grow toward long-term sustainability. The center has not reached a level of financial sustainability that allows it to continue as an ongoing ministry of Noroton Presbyterian Church.
After careful consideration and discernment, the Noroton Presbyterian Therapy Center will close on February 15, 2026. We will continue to explore and support other ways to care for individuals and families through pastoral care, partnerships, and referrals.
We are deeply grateful to Dr. Jeff White and Kirsten Dunlap for the compassionate and professional care they gave to all those who used the center.
If you are in need of care or support, Noroton Presbyterian Church has trusted partners that we would love to connect you with. Please reach out to NPC for more information.
Thank you for your support of this ministry, and for continuing to pray for the care and well-being of our church and surrounding community.
